Bio

Ian Oeschger is an information architect and software developer for IBM and a freelance writer. Before IBM, he worked at a number of small startups in the Silicon Valley, primarily as a technical writer. Then he joined Netscape, where we worked on help systems, XML and web development technologies, developer documentation, and the Mozilla project, for which he's published numerous articles, given presentations, and co-written the O'Reilly book Creating Applications with Mozilla. Before All That, he'd been a bookstore owner, an English major, an English teacher, and an award-winning fiction writer, among other things.
